Dog-Friendly Stores in Glencoe, Highland Park, Winnetka & Surrounding Areas – Part 3 of 3

Now that I have prepared you and your dog to have the best possible natural enrichment experience indoors, it is time to provide the list of local Glencoe, Highland Park, Winnetka and other surrounding suburbs’ dog-friendly stores that welcome well-behaved pups.  We hope you go, enjoy, and both have a great time!

The List of Dog-Friendly Stores to Visit for Natural Enrichment

To create this list, I initially posted on Nextdoor to find out from neighbors which retail stores allow dogs. The following is a list I compiled from both places I’ve been with a dog and from people who responded to theopen sign for a dog-friendly store in Glencoe post. I excluded pet stores. Pet stores might seem like an obvious place to bring dogs. It’s often not the case. Many pet stores have in store vets, groomers, various animals, or a lot of food and toys your dog can’t have. The sights, sounds, and smells can be overstimulating, overwhelming. The following list might have a pet department in the store, but the store isn’t entirely a pet store. Whether or not to go into a pet store with your dog depends. Start somewhere else and see how that goes.

The following, alphabetical by suburb list was created in late 2024. Store policies may have changed since then. You might check before you go with your dog.
